From 23rd January 2011 to 28th January 2011 some of us, taking part in the Comenius project, had a meeting in Oulu, Finland.
On the first day that we spent in this beautiful country, we went to school, where we met other guys of the project.
The school was very stately and full of technology. The headmaster of Oulun Lyseo welcomed us and then we even had a brief lesson of Finnish! After that, all comenius students presented their own work.
In the afternoon, we went on a walking tour of the city and then the finnish guys brought us to a rented house for a welcome party! We really had a good time and we could also try one of the most typical Finnish habits: a SAUNA!
On the second day, we went to Rovaniemi, Lapland! We saw many elks and we had lots of fun, expecially at Santa Claus' village.
The third day, instead, we had to work at the logo and at the questionnaire, but we had a fantastic break snowballing each other and we organized a surprise birthday party for our French guy Antoine!
Unfortunately, the fourth and last day arrived soon and we had to say goodbye to everyone and to the beautiful country of ice and snow but we’ll always remember this amazing experience!
Andrea S, Claudia C, Claudia M. and Marta.
